Against animal testing
ChooseWell believes that beauty products should be cruelty free. We are proud to be Leaping Bunny approved. A global programme, Leaping Bunny requires cruelty free standards over and above legal requirements.
All of our own brand cosmetic and personal care products are approved under the Cruelty Free International Leaping Bunny programme, the internationally recognisable gold standard for cruelty free products. We adhere to a fixed cut-off date policy and proactively monitor our suppliers to ensure that our products continue to adhere to the Leaping Bunny criteria. Our supplier monitoring system is also independently audited.

Our products are designed to be used by humans, so that are safety tested on humans. All of our products are thoroughly tested in clinical studies and approved by an independent dermatologist after undergoing rigorous patch testing on human skin, to ensure that they are safe for their intended use.
ChooseWell uses an independent laboratory certified to ISO 9001:2015 to ensure quality of results. The methodology involves patch testing the liquid handwash on 50 healthy adults. Each participant is exposed to the test and control materials on the upper, outer arms (or lower back) for two consecutive periods of approximately 23 hours over a period of three days. The results are then evaluated with a visual assessment of irritation and dryness, and the term “dermatologically approved” can only be issued by the supervising assessor, if the liquid hand wash passes the patch testing prosses.
This claim “ dermatologically approved” signifies that the product has been tested by dermatologists, and that they have carefully looked into the ingredients of the product and its reaction with the skin. It also signifies that the product is safe to use and does not cause any harm to the skin or body.
